Carrie, the author, has been generous enough to share excerpts of the book with us. When she wrote it, the SATC movie had not yet been released. I didn't want to change the integrity of Carrie's passage, so I assumed that our readers would realize the article's time frame. We're well aware of the movie's street dates, but thanks for pointing it out.
