Jewelry designer Gisele Ganne is reimagining a Victorian tradition with her outrageous mourning and divorce jewelry. Traditional symbols like skulls,roses and doves mingle with toy soldiers, weapons, and nooses as easily as traditional materials are incorporated right along with foam and sequins. Her rings especially are heavy in substance as well as symbolism- she even offers four-finger “brass knuckle” divorce rings.
