Medic Esthetic

Gwendolyn Huskens is a design student (yes, that’s right – student) at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.  At the academy’s recent graduation show, she unveiled a collection of shoes she called “Medic Esthetic”.  The collection consisted of cream and skin colored footwear, and was constructed by medical supplies such as plaster bandages, steel, and band-aids.  We cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us in the future.

I want all of those. Except for the weird white one in the back. Especially the bandage bootie.

The shoes on the right are a rip-off. Marloes ten Bhomer invented a leather mache technique back in 2003! http://www.lucymackintosh.ch/archives.php?id=47&image_id=626
