Golden Globes Red Carpet 2009
Like most Hollywood awards shows, the Golden Globes are as much about who wins on the red carpet as who wins inside. So, without further ado, the winners:
Renee Zellweger’s outfit as a whole didn’t seem to work, but the awesome Carolina Herrera fishtail skirt would have done an Addams proud. I’ll give it Best Supporting Garment.

Evan Rachel Wood seems to have picked up some style from ex-beau Marylin Manson- she stole the red carpet in this Ellie Saab gown and Louboutins. She gets my Haute Macabre award for the night.

Knock it off: Floor length satin fishtail skirt on Etsy, $80.00; Stenay Black tiered floor-length sequin dress at Overstock.com, $149.00

Tina Fay and Laura Dern’s dresses were cute too.

Renee’s dress would have looked a lot better with a black corset rather than a white one.

I love the fishtail.
You should check out TheDieLine.com it’s a packaging design blog, but they feature haute macabre packaging once in a while: http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2008/12/villainess-soap.html

I think it would be much more accurate to say that Evan Rachel Wood is desperately trying to rip of Manson’s other ex Dita von Teese.

What a neat site! I just got stuck in it for quite a while marveling at the freakish vending machines…
