Etsy : JAlvo

Jackie Alvo is the force behind JAlvo’s shop on Etsy. A graduate of F.I.T. in New York, the now Brooklyn based designer puts together pieces that somewhat remind me of the slouchy feel of a lot of Rick Owens’ items, which immediately means that her shop is full of win.
Each item in my shop is a reflection of how I personally like to dress and design. I am my own favorite brand to wear and am happy to have the opportunity to share my esthetic with you.

I’m loving these unstructured tops — the folding is very avant-garde.

Really poor sewing, if adequate design.

Actually all of the sewing is to professional industry standard by a trained and certified tailor, but im sure your scholarly opinion gathered via extensive research of glancing at a few photos (and surely not having viewed any of the garments in person) is valid ,credible ,and enlightened.
