Etsy : Morph Clothing

Toronto based MorphClothing started in 2005, and has since stayed on top of the cyber esthetic. Currently, there are only three items listed on their Etsy page (and no feedback), but the new online shop has more to offer.
On closer inspection, a lot of the designs on the site are triggering memories of Kitchen Orange circa ‘05 or ‘06, but well… I liked it then, and I still like it now.
I’ll leave this one up to you guys – yay or nay?

I hope this doesn’t sound off topic, but it puts a warm feeling in my heart to see people of color modeling this clothing aesthetic. You don’t have to be pale to be haute macabre.

Some pieces seem to fit awkward when displayed on the models as if the fabric were cut imporperly and it’s tugging in the wrong places.
From my view it has potential but possibly not quite there yet?

Via that site I found steamtrunk.com which is totally drool worthy. Especially the one of a kind, stripey bustle dress with such nice use of assymetry.

Love Morph!
They show cyber doesn’t need to mean fashion disaster! Love the sophisticated, sleek, and sharp Toronto cyber/futuristic fashion designers. I’ve also seen a lot of their designs up close and they are well made.
