Complex Geometries
Complex Geometries’ video trailer for their A/W 09 line is visually stunning, but the only glimpse of the clothes you catch is the floopy thing about two thirds of the way through. After further investigation, let me save you the minute and a half of clicking through their site. The line is full of heather gray ill fitting floop, and all reminded me of the sweatpants that you wear at home when you have the flu. I wouldn’t mind this or this from their earlier collections, but overall, I’m not so into it.
Love the company name, love the video, not so in love with most of the clothes.
And yes, floop, and any derivative thereof, is a technical term.

I once spent nearly half an hour trying to figure out how to get a shirt-ish thing to “work.” In Montreal, they’re in every boutique, and I still don’t get it.
