One of our favorite blogs, Kingdom of Style, recently pointed out this Glasgow based webshop that I cannot believe wasn’t already on our radar.

Hannah Zakira carries only handmade jewelry, accessories, and clothing.  Browsing through it, my favorite pieces were made by Hoolala, but that’s not to stop you from shopping the full site.

I’m not too crazy about wing themed pendants since they are so common and hardly ever unique. It’s like all the wings were made from the same mold. But there is a nice use of Gustave Dore’s art from Paradise Lost and the Divine Comedy, his etchings are amazing enough without being in a pendant.

    well engravings not etchings.

I agree that I’m not super fond of the wings, but I really like the usage of the art. I have a feeling the wings wouldn’t be too hard to clip off (no pun intended).

Yes, neat. But, I’ve seen vulture skulls covered in tiny crystals…19thc. The Victorians had no tv to distract them from brooding on their grief. And oh, they did. Widows wearing violet and what not. It is nice to laugh at them, until my heart cries.
