Brace Yourself

“Pro Aesthetics Supports”, a line of medical braces and corsets reimagined and redesigned by Italian designer Francesca Lanzavecchia, reflects the individual personalities and desires of their wearers. Designs include both the aesthetically interesting, (like the tattooed or lace designs above), and the functionally unique- neck braces with support for a cell phone or space to store an MP3 player and back braces with pockets galore.

those body braces are ridiculously hot.
I’d seen the fluo neck brace with stuff in it before, but the body braces are just amazing.

Really interesting- challenges the way people see these objects as well. Were you to see these on the street, people could be confused as to whether they were being worn for fashion or for function. Support and braces worn for medical purposes are often so unflattering, it would be a shock to imagine something that looks that good could be doing something medical!
