Lie To Me

Called the “McQueen of Korea”, Seoul designer Lie Sang Bong’s Fall/Winter 09 show rocked the Paris runways, appropriately enough, to the sounds of Bauhaus, Siouxie and the Banshees, and Nick Cave. Laser cutting has been increasingly used in the leather industry for speed and precision on the assembly line, but I haven’t seen it used as much as I would expect just for decorative purposes-these laser cut leather jackets and bags are great!

I’ve been trying to tell everyone that Korea is the new hotness for fashion, movies, celebs, TV, art, and culture. And, Korean designers are awesome. Too bad he did not show at Seoul Fashion Week as well.
