This may be the most ingenious move of all time.
Rollasole is an emergency ballet flat dispenced from vending machines in British night clubs, for those Holy Eff These Heels Are Effing Killing Me sort of nights. Priced at about 8 pounds, they’re probably cheaper than the cocktails that you order, and save you from the barefoot drunk girl walk of shame home (not to mention potential tetanus shots needed the next day).
Please, Jeebus, bring these to the States ASAP.

Genius! They should put those in malls too.

If they aren’t there where I’m off to this evening, I will hurt something.

Seeing a need and filling it. That’s design at its greatest.

haha, those are great. i usually carry a pair of flip-flops with me, for the very reasons cited here. last time i needed them, i was without….had attended an art opening with a friend, when we decided we’d walk around town and check out the sat. night happenings. thank god there was a walgreen’s across the street, where i got a pair of $3.99 flip-flops….lucky indeed.
but really, the vending machine option would be perfect.

Damn the brilliance!

These really are brilliant. My friend has a pair of foldable flip-flops too. The only problem is that although the folding shoes fitted in your clutch, your heels won’t.

My flip flops broke in the middle of Manhattan at 2am once. Since 24 hour delis don’t usually carry shoes and you definitely don’t want to brave the city or the train barefoot, my only option was to buy electrical tape and tape the flip flop to my foot.
Those would have been an absolute lifesaver.

Wow that is just brilliant – about as prilliant as the chapter book vending machines that I saw in an Irish airport.

Hah! I’ve used these before and they are AMAZING. I wouldn’t say they’d save you from tetanus shots though, they’re pretty thin, but they are pretty helpful

What’s the point in wearing fancy shoes to the club if you end up taking them off? Might as well wear the ballet flats in the first place. I play through the pain.

Wolfmammy, I couldn’t agree more, but we have all been THAT girl one time or another.
Oh, and I forgot to mention in the post, they come with a little carry bag!! These really need to go international.
