Karl Lagerfeld takes over German Vogue for October. All of the photoshoots look fantastic. Samantha was struck by the Asta Neilsen shoot; but for me this dark,  fetish inspired editorial, “Anita Berber”, takes the cake.  This lace mask is just phenomenal:

   Anita Berber was a fabulous, glamorous, drug-addled dancer and courtesan from the Weimar days. Look her up. She was fascinating.
