Last year I frightened myself by falling head-over-heels for a big, puffy, quilted coat. This time around, it’s even worse- I’ve fallen for an entire company dedicated to the production of big, puffy, quilted coats.

Now, I had never heard of Moncler before, but according to NotCot, this was previously the “Euro equivalent of North Face” (*shudder*.) However, a bit of rebranding can be a beautiful thing, and Moncler’s current collection is enough to make you think of fiber fill and nylon as unusual structural elements for fashion rather than the building blocks of Stay-Puft Marshmallow nightmares.

   Hmm, I kinda like and hate them at the same time…maybe living in Canada and seeing too many really bad puffy jackets has something to do with it.

   I live in Canada too and know what you mean. However, I love all but the last one on the bottom right.
