Ink
Despite this post having absolutely nothing to do with fashion, you all should pay close attention. A few nights ago, I watched what was probably one of the best movies I have ever seen : Ink. I don’t want to give too much away, but aside from being visually stunning, it fulfilled my Gaiman / Dark City / Gilliam wants and needs, and all on an incredibly tiny budget.
Make seeing this movie a priority.

Yes. Please. Makes me want to watch Perfume, City of Lost Children, Dark City, MirrorMask and Pan’s Labyrinth all in one fell swoop.

I just saw Perfume for the first time a few weeks ago, gawd, that movie was GORGEOUS.

I adored this film. It’s apparently causing greatly divided reactions form people, but in me my only reaction was “my! what a work!” I was most certainly moved and impressed by it’s beauty and depth, but also by the humor and action. It definitely reminded me of something Gaiman might have written, but still very much it’s own thing.

I thought it was crap. I liked the character designs, except of course for the completely unnecessary and incredibly fake nose.
The directing is kinda awful, the movie doesn´t flow at all…
