If that is real! (and it just might be, if not, its definitely not impossible to make) I NEED IT!
I need a bat umbrella.
cute but I don’t see the actual use…. This is more of a parasol then?
Seems real enough. Might not be too functional, but I can see how it was made. To me, in my opinion, it looks like they cut out two, and part of a third in the middle, of the fabric sections from a normal umbrella, cut down the metal support sticks, then reshaped the middle segment to look like bat ears. Again, that’s all my opinion, but I’m a huge DIYer.
Holy mother! That is such an awesome umbrella!!! I need one. Well, not really. I just want one. =D
It does kind of look like they cut out those sections! Way adorable!!! I might need to try to make one!
http://www.xtrax.de sells a similar one:
I’m not sure how practical that is, but both that and the one Sara posted look awesome.
This is gorgeous – let us know if you figure out who made it!
A bit of googling found this:
and then this:
Which suggests it’s only a concept piece! Shame, as it’s kinda cute!
