Anatomical Venus, Semmelweis Medical Museum (Budapest, Hungary)

For once, an event everyone can go to! The great folks at Atlas Obscura are organizing a worldwide “day of expeditions, back-room tours, and hidden treasures in your own home town” on March 20th. From a private cabinet of curiosities in Elkin, North Carolina to a tour of Budapest’s Semmelweis Medical Museum,  the weird and the wonderful will be opening their doors to those in the know. The list of events is still growing, so if there isn’t one in your area yet, keep checking in- or maybe you should host one.

   pretty sure I saw that same Anatomical Venus in a medical museum in Vienna last summer? Maybe they made more than one of them?
