Christian Dior Fall / Winter 2010

I get that John Galliano was going for equestrian for Christian Dior’s Fall / Winter 2010 show, but all I can think is BROWN GAWTH! Replace some of those beaded necklaces with some keys and gears, and you’ve got a steampunk-a-go-go.
Regardless of my snark, I am quite fond of the line – especially those crochet stay-ups and deep burgundies.

So gorgeous! I love it all, but for some reason the little minty green number caught my eye. Most of it is great for fall, but some of the filmy dresses seem more suited to spring (read: want now!)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE every thing about it!
Especially all the ruffles and lace patters, it’s got that girlie yet edgey look that I adore <3
This is one of the rare instances in which I would actually pay designer prices for the clothes.

As an equestrian, I don’t see equestrian in any of those! Maybe horse show watcher…. They are cute.
