Inside-out Day?

OK, we knew this was coming. But I’m still not sure I think it’s a good idea…but then, it’s not exactly a bad idea, either. And it certainly is a cheap look to pull off.

A cheap look to pull off, and a very easy one to ruin. Those would snag and run with just a few minutes outside.

cool idea for runway, bad idea to wear outside.
I like the fishnet look alot.

all you’d need to do is cover the sole with black duct tape, and it should last through a night out.

I used to do this over my boots when I was gogo-ing.

@Barb Black duct-tape covered wedges actually sound like a much nicer piece of haute fashion; anyone willing to make prototypes?

I love the way the fishnet pattern is stretched on the side. I’d really like to see this accomplished in a more permanent way, a separate stitched layer over the leather shoe.

Typhoid – interesting idea, that might be a neat way to revitalize an old worn-out but beloved pair of boots.

I’m picturing myself slipping and flying across the metro station in these.

I wish I could find the picture, but I recently came across a photo from a 1930′s Vogue shoot, where the model was wearing striped ankle socks over her shoes.
It looked pretty cool there, but I don’t know how I feel about the hose.
