   Just now seeing this, since—of course—around 5 p.m. the night of the event? Time Warner’s wireless connection decided to blink “Bye Bye” & cackle mercilessly.

   Hey, at least I didn’t blow a fuse…& I mean that both literally & figuratively. So went my story earlier this eve (it’s still Thursday as far as I’m concerned, as I’ve yet to hit the sheets), though strangest thing: “somehow” my quick excursion to the hardware store turned into a perusal of Rick Owens, Gods Prey & a well-curated selection of other dark fineries at E.P.I.C. Turns out the handsome young proprietor of Convent NYC just happens to be in town for a Convent ‘pop-up’ within the Echo Park boutique.

   For any shadow-clad Angelenos who might have stumbled upon this ramble, word on the street*? Party from 8-11 tonight…& that’s ‘tonight’ as in Friday, mmmkayplz/thnx

   *Oh yeah, & incidentally? By “street,” I mean 1712 Sunset Boulevard. An address my subconscious must have tucked within its memory bank—or, more realistically: one of my wallet’s well-worn credit card slots… I mean, I live in Silverlake ; the hardware store’s the opposite direction, & OhOhKay FINE: the jig is up

   If you’re intrigued by the joint effort, don’t let that be the case with you & yours (jig/ expiration date; get it?) —as—

   Convent’s “Shop Within A Shop” is but a mere weekend, ending Sunday January 30th at 9 p.!
