I am so in love with this dress from Iris Van Herpen’s S/S 2012 collection! It looks like it just grew on the model, like bark or crystals, or maybe was built there by wee fairy architects in need of a summer home.

   I was actually hoping someone had hand-carved it, but, noooo, it was 3-D printed.
   I think I’ve learned something.

   Whether it was 3D printed or made by fairies, it’s still wonderful. Good to know it was made that way though. The future looks a bit more interesting with such technology.
