Witch Baby Soap: Making Bath Time Magical

Witch Baby Soap

Witch Baby Soap is heaven in a bath. A spooky, intoxicatingly-scented glitterbomb heaven, that is. These purveyors of bath bombs, body butters, sugar scrubs, solid perfumes, and other delights are a cult favorite on Instagram, and for good reason. Their goodies are 100% vegan, hand-made with the finest witchy ingredients, and often contain hidden messages and crystals. Since moving into a house with a bathtub this past fall I have sampled at least twenty of their products and am placing another order tonight. Join me, won’t you?

Nothing undoes the stresses of a long day like drawing a hot bath and watching a bath bomb fizz away your worries with color and luscious foam. Witch Baby Soap’s Psychic Bath Bomb will fill the room with the relaxing fragrance of lavender and amber, while yarrow root clears and opens your mind. Yarrow’s mystical powers appear in the tales and myths of many cultures; in British folklore, a leaf held against the eyes is said to give second sight. Witch Baby Soaps’ instructions: Simply drop this luxurious baby into the bath, relax as you inhale the fragrant lavender essential oil, and open your third eye.

If you, like our dear S. Elizabeth, prefer to keep away from vulgar splish-splashing, perhaps a body butter will be more to taste. Try the Graveyard Body Butter, an olfactory acknowledgement of your mortality that smells “of a freshly dug grave and carefully arranged funeral flowers on a warm spring afternoon.” Many Witch Baby Soap products are available in multiple formats from bath potion to solid perfume, so you can smell like a corpse in the bath or the office.

Witch Baby Soap offers a seasonal subscription service called the “spell box,” which includes one bath bomb for each full moon of the season, myriad free samples, informative tales and tidbits for the discerning witch, and surprises like crystals and candles. I am not one bit convinced that this is enough for my quarterly bathing needs, but it will definitely be a welcome addition. Registration for the spring box ends the week of January 16th, but stay tuned to sign up for summer’s box.
