The Viktor Wynd Museum | Haute Macabre

The Viktor Wynd Museum

Located on Mare Street in London, The Viktor Wynd Museum Of Curiosities, Fine Art And Natural History is a definite on the must-see list for lovers of oddities of all sorts and definitely a page in the Haute Macabre travel guide. Wynd, previously the proprietor of Viktor Wynd’s Little Shop of Horrors, refers to the collection as ‘exquisite clutter’. Calling it an ‘all encompassing museum’, Wynd seems to make no distinction between art, science, and anything else he finds personally appealing (up to and including Happy Meal toys). The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11am to 10pm for general admission, and also offers taxidermy classes, lectures, and other events.
