This evening, at 6PM EST, Chapter Two of the BloodMilk Exquisite Corpse shall be released. Feeding snippets and small previews for the past few weeks via Instagram, BloodMilk has introduced us to her collaborative project, including an expansion to her collection of unisex scents from our beloved Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, candles and incense from Three Ravens Company, planchette keepsake boxes by Darla Jackson, and more.
Three new scents are being introduced by Three Ravens Company to the sophomore collection: Moth Wing, Surrealist Darling, and Spider Silk, as both candles and powdered incense, designed to compliment one another in their layers of scent for your home. Encased in glass containers featuring label art by Aaron Horkey, they are accompanied by ghost moth incense burners, made in collaboration with Miss Millie Ceramics. These containers are a spectral alabaster white, topped with a delicately sculpted Planchette Moth, and may be used as the aforementioned incense burner, or as a ring box. As with the inaugural collection, the Three Ravens Company candles shall be available in limited quantities, not to be reproduced. Candles, incense, and ghost moths each sold separately.
The expansion of the BloodMilk Exquisite Corpse Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab line will be adding four new fragrances: Lydia, Belonging to the Darkness, Djed, and Silk Bat. These unisex scents will be a part of the permanent collection, composed as an extension of your BloodMilk Jewels talismans of the corresponding names, with one special addition: Silk Bat. A sugared patchouli, Silk Bat was first introduced by BPAL Trading Post in an limited Halloween edition hair gloss of years past, and was a long time favorite and signature scent of BloodMilk’s Jess Schnabel. Black Phoenix has donated this scent now to her collection, in a true gesture of devotion and community.
Sculptor Darla Jackson has contributed an incredible planchette keepsake box to the Exquisite Corpse collection. A matte black hideaway for your treasures, with a working oracle eye for your visions to the other side.
Collectors may also expect a fresh set of Book Worm Tote Bags to this release, featuring two new designs contributed by Aaron Horkey and Jeremy Hush, and a special printed version of Bill Crisafi’s contribution, “The Comfort of Dust”, to Chapter One. Printed in silver ink on the blackest black, in perfectly contrasting tones.
BloodMilk Exquisite Corpse Chapter Two will be available tonight, December 13, at 6PM EST at BloodMilkExquisiteCorpse.com
