Here is a detailed description of our policies. Haute Macabre is a small, independently run business, and your support means the world.
The products sold here are for curio and entertainment purposes only. Haute Macabre makes absolutely no claims or guarantees that it will produce any tangible results. Buyer assumes all responsibility for purchase and releases the seller from any and all liability. No product is meant for consumption or medical use.
Does Haute Macabre believe in magic?
Yes, absolutely.
What payments do you accept?
Haute Macabre accepts major credit cards and PayPal. You may also use Shop Pay for installment payments (subject to eligibility).
Can I combine orders that haven’t shipped yet?
Yes, absolutely! Please email HauteMacabre *at* gmail with your order numbers and request details. HM does our best to automatically combine orders, but some slip through. You will be credited back the extra shipping payment as a store credit for future use.
Can I pick up my order in person?
No, there is no in person or curbside pick up option available.
Do you have a brick and mortar location I can visit?
At this time, Haute Macabre is exclusively an online shop!
Shipping Policies:
What are your shipping rates?
Domestic orders (within the US) are a flat rate of $10, and sent via USPS Priority Mail Service. International orders are calculated by weight, size, and destination.
How do I get free shipping?
Orders over $175 ship for free in the US, as do crystals priced over $75.
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically fulfilled within 5-7 business days (Monday - Friday), with the exception of Pre-Order items, or if otherwise noted. Please be aware that in stock items will ship along with your pre-orders, so please place multiple orders if you would like available items sent sooner.
Can I track my order?
Tracking information is sent to the email address that you provided at checkout. You may also use the "Shop" app for tracking from your smartphone.
How long does it take to deliver?
Domestic orders are fulfilled via USPS Priority Mail, which takes typically 2-5 business days to arrive.
Can I add additional security to my postage?
If you would like to add any services to ensure safe delivery, such as additional insurance or signature on delivery, you may contact us directly via email at HauteMacabre {at} gmail.com to arrange for the purchase of these add ons.
My tracking says my package was delivered but I haven’t received it.
Don’t panic! Please visit your local post office (I do not recommend calling or emailing) or ask your mail carrier about it.
Haute Macabre do not take any responsibility for any item that is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable or for any other reason, Haute Macabre is not responsible for any additional shipping fees that may occur.
Do you ship Internationally?
Yes!
How long will my international order take to arrive?
International Orders may take up to two months to arrive, depending on the nature of your country's customs or delivery services. You have the option to select USPS First Class or USPS Priority International at check-out.
What’s the difference between First Class and Priority International other than the price difference?
First Class International does not provide insurance or the option to open postal claims, or detailed tracking, and should your item be lost or damaged in transit, Haute Macabre will be absolutely unable to assist. Priority International will arrive (typically) much faster, and includes the ability to open a claim in the event that your package is lost or damaged in transit.
Can you change the value of the package on my customs form?
Customs fees are not included in our pricing or shipping fees, and are solely the responsibility of the buyer based off of your country's rules and rates. Haute Macabre will not falsify shipping / customs documents.
Do you offer other carriers other than the postal service?
If you would like to arrange for an alternate international carrier, such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS, please email hautemacabre {at} gmail {dot} com for estimates.
I strongly encourage international orders to use upgraded mail services that include tracking and insurance coverage. Without these services, HM will not be able to assist or file any claims should your parcel be lost or damaged.
Return Policy:
We do not accept any returns on any of our items.
