The Mummies of Mexico City is a part of the HM + BPAL Cemetery Collection, inspired by my visit to the Museo de El Carmen. In an underground crypt beneath a monastery school dating back to the 1600s rest twelve naturally mummified bodies. Going down the staircase leading to the crypt, the temperature begins to drop and the air shifts from the heavy heat to a dry, earthy scent. Confronted by the mummies is the sharp juxtaposition from the angelic and opulent relics of the upper levels of the museum, reminding us of our own earthy boundaries, and that we shall all return to the dust.

Mummies of Mexico City contains notes of  church incense, ornate gold, old lace, and dust. A sacred, secret scent, recalling residual whispers of incense settling into the ancient, forgotten dust.

What Is Hair Gloss?

What is hair gloss?

We have combined Tahitian Moni, Camelina Oil, Argan Oil, and Karanja oil to give your mane a gleaming finishing shine without leaving it weighed-down or greasy. Camelina Oil provides a protective coating for the hair follicles, argan oil nourishes stressed hair, enhances elasticity, and repairs cellular damage to the hair strand itself, and a touch of monoi oil adds moisture and enhances softness.

To use: spray lightly onto wet or dry hair Your hair will be silkier, shinier, glossier, more vibrant, and frizz-free. Black Phoenix’s Hair Gloss is paraben and sulfate free, and contains no petro-chemicals, no GMOs, and no triclosan. Our hair gloss has a six-month shelf life.
